Don’t you just love these “about me” pages? They’re usually written in third person language (usually by the site owner themselves) and speak to industry achievements, that don’t make much sense to regular folks.
So after Chad Moore stopped laughing at himself trying to sound like a better Mortgage Broker than he is, by writing about himself in the third person, he abandoned that approach and decided to write this letter like it was to a friend.
Which …in many ways, it is.
Ok, quick agenda items – I’m 34 years old. Live in Calgary with my dog Lucy. I volunteer and contribute to our local community in different ways (community football coach since 2009, Calgary Colts Football Organization board of director volunteer, Toastmaster past president, Canadian Diabetes Speaker Volunteer).
I’m guessing that’s not the kind of stuff you’re looking for.
You’re probably wondering,
Is this guy worth my time and attention?
For many readers, my answer is YES.

I think you want to work with a highly skilled, qualified and customer service orientated businessperson.

I’m a HUGE proponent of first deciding WHO you’re going to work with AND THEN deciding on WHAT your Mortgage entails. This is often the exact OPPOSITE approach people take when entering their Mortgage process.

It’s true.

Ok, perhaps at this point, I think I’m suppose to let you in on a little back story of my life and start in this business.
I’m an athlete and played University football. And now I coach football. Football is one of purest team games I know.
The altruism of “the team is only as strong as the weakest link” couldn’t be truer. Even coaching the game now. I think the same can be said about a football coaching staff.
Really, I’m blessed to have played and be a part of this game.
Way back in 2009 I got my start as a Mortgage Broker. I recall my excitement, anticipation and great hope I had for my clients and I.
I intuitively know, the more people whom I can help; the more I can continue to help others.
Real Estate is an emotional game with peaks and valleys. I consider myself blessed to be a part of YOUR story.
I also understand how vulnerable it is opening up personal finances to another person. Basically, all cards are on the table at that point.
